Mostly hit my mini-goal of 137 before the BIG B-day (50), which is tomorrow (sigh). My BFF announced she wants to take me out for Italian, which I want to do but I don't want to do.

I would really prefer a calorie-free present of going to the Humane Society and adopting a furry friend, now that the construction is finished in my bathroom and I don't have contractors parading through my home all day.

Happy Birthday! I like your idea much better! Hope your friend understands if you decide to not do Italian, but hope you enjoy it if you do decide to go. A new fur baby would be so special though! I'm envious! It will be a few years before I will have room in my life for one again and I do miss that constant companionship so much. Enjoy!
