Hello everybody!!! How are you today? I am very sorry that my last entry was on 2nd of September. Sence this day I really struggled with my back pain. It is severe pain. Sleeping by sitting down on bed with couple pillows behind my back. So on 2nd of September my weight was 100.4 kg. On 7th of September on my preop appointment with the orthopedic nurse my weight was 103 kg. And today I recognised that I lost 2 kg. So now my weight is 101 kg. My pain was so severe that I just could not concentrate my mind and attention on putting my food into the food diary, I lost interest in reading the books, listening the music and watching TV programmes. When I tried any of these, I could concentrate my brain on them. Very difficult to keep up positive attitude. One thing what I tried to do is gratitude : tried to think for what am I grateful. I know that I didn't opened this app. But you, my friends, you always been in my mind and I always knew that I can count on you. Have a lovely day everybody!
101 kg Lost so far: 15 kg.    Still to go: 6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Try to think positive but always sort out your health issues first please get well soon and then you can get your game face on

Thank you razor123ray for your comment. I know that if is would be no phisical pain, I would be very happy mentally. Hopefully I will have my op soon ( it means less trips to the fridge) 😁🤣

Have you tried yoga to help your back pain, I do yoga, it helps mine a LOT hope it helps you yoo. XXX

Dear elizabethknappert, I never did yoga exercises before and I do not know any easy yoga exercises that I can try. If for example to stand on knees, I phisically can't do it as my left knee hurts a lot. Could you, please, to suggest any types of yoga exercises and we're I can find videos how to do them. I fould really appreciate your help.

pebbleperson, thank you very much for your comment. If really tell the truth, my name is Elena ( I am using this name in Russia). But I never liked my name. So when I came to live in Britain I changed this name for different spelling, which is Yelena. Thank you so much for your wishes. I am really feeling very anxious about this op, as a recovery is very long, around 2 years and it is very painful after the op.

Well however you arrived at Yelena, it is lovely and the name of a main character in a 📖 I have just read. I think the waiting for something coming up is often the worst part, the imagining of what it may be like, or how we will cope... the being suspended in limbo, not going forward or back. I don't have any wise words (how I wish I did), but it will come and it sounds necessary, and you will cope, in the best way you're able. Worry it seems to me is always about things that haven't happened yet and Yelena it may not be as bad as you think, for you. You may just be surprised and will be so glad hopefully in the years to come that you had it done. Take care and lots of positive thoughts to you x

Sam, thank you very much for your wishes! I am trying to look after my emotional state. As if I am in severe pain, anxious, I am starting emotional eating. But from today I will have 6 weeks of a course on emotional eating online. Hopefully it will help me. 😊
