Keeping those last few kilos under control is hard!

I am training hard and building muscle mass so the weight is not really an issue now. I think I am about where I need to be. 🙂

Good stuff. I am not at my fighting weight just now. It gets hard as one gets older!

It certainly does Anne, though I have been 63kg since I was 19. Weight has never been a problem for me because of running, football and cycling. Having a couple of years off was hard for me and I put on about a 7 kg. Now back cycling and increasing my mileage weekly, I am starting to shape again not too worried about my weight. I am using this app to keep a count of my calories and fat intake to help me stay lean. It doesn't pay to be obsessed but just aware of what you are eating.

I am much the same. My weight has stayed pretty steady since my teens due to being active. The difference is I didn't need to think about it until I reached 35. Since then I have had to be much more aware of what I am eating. Thankfully, I have never been injured beyond the odd niggle here and there. You must be stoked to be cycling again!

Anne, Yes absolutely overjoyed! I really did miss it. Went from training 15 hours a week to nothing over night. It was hard but I managed by doing other things that were not as physical. On top form now and with another 6 months of hard training I will be back to where I want to be.
