First time ever that I'm ok with that bump. Still under goal and I know it was a good week. I worked out really hard a couple times, and i ate carefully. The evening my family was all back together again I had too much chocolate, but all in all a respectable week. 😁

You're definitely fine, maybe these muscles are increasing💪🏻

I was up over 2 pounds during the week. It's easy to do. Since I want to post my weight on Sundays I've been fasting until tomorrow just so I don't show a gain. But my weight swings a lot and I know you'll be fine.

Thanks, liv! I wanna be like you! Yep, jcmama, I do need to enjoy some of that chocolate... As long as I keep it to a bit!! 😁 Sweat peaches, that is my goal for sure.... Just wanna keep her blue! Safa, I am trying to gain muscles for sure, but perhaps this is inflammation in them, or whatever makes the impact. I'm quite sore.🙄

I get it, Fritzy! Just lately I've made the transition to weighing every day. I still just record here on Saturday, but it sure is helpful to see the trend and make some corrections along the way... Yep, I also will IF or go really light for a day or two to try and "correct" the scale direction now. 😁

Remember! Everyone can lose weight. That’s easy! Maintaining the weight loss! That’s the true challenge. Be more mindful now, don’t freak out over fluctuations.

and after not taking the scale so seriously, you lose interest for the food scale and right after you can stop counting calories and relying on your gut to tell u what and how to eat
28 Sep 19 by member: rosio19
Just take this seriously and you will indeed succeed

Thank you so much, Steven! 👣 Mrsroboto, I do feel good! But, I also feel the fragility of "success!" I'm perhaps more aware than ever how conscious I must be with my choices. Kristen, I am learning more now than ever about the influence of different "fuel" for my body. Using the scale regularly for now I think is a first step to not needing it. I used to not be able to weight without frustration and discouragement, so it is a helpful tool right now as I am gaining some balance. I'm not wanting to be over confident too early! 😁 Tha knyou for being so helpful and for your continued encouragement! Boy do I need you all!!!! ❤️💕❤️

Rosio, your tips and help have made a huge difference for me. Thank you! As I said in my FS bio (which I just updated) I started out this journey, like every other time I tried to lose weight living with restriction and depriving myself. I think the biggest mental challenge learning that I have to lose the same way I want to live for the rest of my life. I think I did that.... Now I need to stay faithful to what I have learned. At the same time, like you said, I need to slowly learn to not rely on the artificial props and learn to "live" like a normal, healthy human. Again, thank uou

Thank you for being so open minded. Admitting we don’t know what we are doing and accepting advice is the first step to success

Humility is the first step to change for sure! 👣

I always try to remember it is a marathon not a sprint. Losing weight is awesome but feeling and being healthy is the goal I focus on. It helps with the other things.
