Just recorded a weight gain of slightly under a pound. In reality I put on 3llbs while I was staying with my friend for 2 days. I didn't eat anything really bad either, I resisted the Magnum ice cream, and the french bread and bacon.
I actually are about 6 chips,in one evening meal and a small portion of rice the next day, two slices of bread without any spread or butter, 4 crackers with Philadelphia, and had Fruit and fibre for breakfasts. I did have a couple of glass es of prosecco and a couple of vodka and slimline tonic s though. I thought I was good but no, ,3llbs gain and it's taken me 4 days to get rid of most of that sticking to 1000 calories a day.
Really gutted, but pleased most of its gone. Only 5days left till holiday, can't see my goal being met now.

I think you have to count according to the ratio of your height, weight, age and activity, because 1000 calories is not really enough for you. I would suggest checking as for myself wanting to lose weight with starting 90,5kg and 5'7 height the healthy way of losing weight is 1800 calories. I never have so many, mainly 1300-1500. 1000 seems to be very drastic.

I know they're not the best, but the NHS strongly urges a bare minimum of 1200 calories a day and that's basically for people who are immobile for vast parts of the day. Someone with a measurable activity level needs more just to keep their body ticking over. I don't know if the whole 'starvation mode' theory is true or not but what I do know I started at around 1200 calories a day and ended up putting weight on. I bumped it up to 1400 and, when I stick to it (no birthdays or anniversaries etc etc) I lose around a pound or 2 a week. Kornelia is right, you may need to reassess your intake
