cindylynnwho's Journal, 30 Aug 12

This is just a fluctuation, I think, but I am recording it anyway since my original goal when I came back here was 130. I actually thought I would gain after the beer I drank last night, but then again, it was just one beer. This running is really shaving the pounds right off and I may have to start eating more because I don't want to lose more weight. My husband says it's okay if I lose more ( or gain more), though. He has loved me at many weights and is upset that I've let other people's ideas about my weight (colleagues, mostly) affect me. I'm torn because I know my body would lose more if I let it without me ever feeling hungry as I have been 120 for much of my life without any attention to my weight (I was also 200+ for a few years, though). on the other hand the last time I was 120 I think my colleagues may have been right that I was knd of gaunt looking, and it made me look older, but not in a good way. 120 was hotter at 25 than 35 for me, I think. :) So for now I'd like to stay where I am. Most important to me, though, is health rather than weight. My hubby worries about me too much, but he's right that it was a poor choice to eat a bunch of ice cream just because others thought I needed more junk in my trunk. So now I'm going to go make a healthy smoothie with greens in it and healthy fats... Hmm, need to go buy some more greens...

Find the weight you are comfortable at, and balance your food intake with the amount of exercise you are doing. The running you have been able to do is simply amazing.. and I love your grateful for list. Happy long weekend...
