Gah!!! Epic water gain. English fish and chips as a pre fast meal. There must have been an amazing amount of sodium in it. My 36 hour fast should show a ridiculous weight drop. We'll see where I get to.
87.5 kg Lost so far: 3.2 kg.    Still to go: 0.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Gaining 11.4 kg a Week

Vegetable oil may also be to blame. Diddle posted a link the other day about what veggie oils do to fat cells and stopping the body from using fat for energy.

Interesting. I'll try to find that. Just discovered that canola oil is genetically modified rape seed. Rape seed was inedible and its oil was used for lubricating machinery.

I love fish and chips. However, I can gain 5lbs in one day from the salt and carbs...

On a high-fat diet, the quality of the fat matters. I avoid soybean and canola oils, use olive, avocado, and fats from meat, fish and dairy. Too much vegetable oil can make me nauseous.
