I've not taken this as seriously as I ought to, but my carbs intake has reduced significantly - as has my alcohol intake (but it's not zero!).
However, being the heaviest I've ever been, I recognise I need to do more. So now I'm going to do this properly. I'm starting an induction course today with zero alcohol, <20g carbs per day and lots of exercise. I'm continuing to cycle to work (but I was off last week, so lower exercise there!), swimming will become more regular and I hope to do some recreational/exercise cycling too.
I'm looking forward to this now! Slightly surprised to lose a little weight too - last time I weighed myself, I'd gained after a week of induction (which I'm hoping was due to exercise!).
