Day 3 of 3 days of planned eating

After my low carb lunch, I went for a run yesterday and weighed myself after the run. I was 177. I then ate dinner, two beef patties and turnip fries (they were great!). The problem I feel was the ketchup... I had a LOT of it. After the salty carb filled ketchup I drank a LOT of water. I woke up to a 94 blood reading (my normal fasting reading is in the high 70s) and 3 pounds of 'water' weight.

Basically I did not keep my carbs for the day <20 as I had planned.

Also, I have noticed, no matter what I do, my body will simply switch into a mode, probably because it has some cellular repair or resting to do, or whatever. It will retain, or expel water, ect. I have 'influence' over my body, but I do not have 'control'. I simply have to 'stay the course' and be 'patient'.

The fast re-starts tomorrow :)

I have read that when the body is low on fuel it will retain water, same when you work out the muscles can retain water. I imagine the internal process's are over my head. Yes ketchup is a higher carb choice. I avoid it, but then I have not tried those fries yet, they sound awesome, franks hot sauce is carb free! It is a wing sauce we use.

Really nice work, brother. I don't think I have ever been as disciplined with a refeed as you are now. On the first attempt, too. Leading the way to successful fasting again. Let's go! #stillgrindtime #stayhungry #inspiringAF #justdonteat

PS - Really terrific to hear that you and your wife are working together on this health journey. That's exactly as it should be, and regrettably rare.

@jimmiepop - Thanks man! As far as refeeding, I have been fasting for months now, I am a really SLOW learner haha - - And yeah I am really grateful the wife and I are able to get on the same page. #priceless

You are going to get better with every refeed! I’m glad you liked the fries :D next time pick up some no sugar added ketchup. It’s really good! And only has 1 carb instead of 4

@CrashtestDawnie - We don't have Publix but my wife will look at one of our insanely large grocery stores, or I can get it on Amazon (found it, but I have to buy like 6 of them at a time).
