Snow mostly off the ground. Burned through 2 years of firewood last winter. Out this evening to start gathering firewood.

It's funny because it wasn't really harsh cold, but continuous at about-20. Time to prepare for the next one for sure.

Do wish for a happy medium with the temps. We hit 85 today, but 5 days ago we had the heat on because it was 40. Tomorrow it's to be close to 90. Insane. Cutting firewood is the ultimate workout. I do miss the days of chopping, splitting and stacking. I loved it.
