I had amazing week last week exercise wise doing over 20k steps 4 days in a roll and hitting the gym.. I weight myself on Saturday day early as we were going out that night for my husband's birthday meal to the second Michelin star restaurant we have here so I didn't want to weight myself next morning and what happened? ! after all that exercise and sticking to healthy eating I PUT ON two pounds! I was so disappointed after working so hard that I went off the rails over the whole weekend 😞😤 I do not know how much damage I did and am now slowly getting back in track food wise and will brave the scales on Sunday to see the damage. It was silly to do that but I hoped for a good loss and instead I put on for no reason at all and it just broke me. all that pain all the sacrifice and no reward is hard to stomach. I know it's only one week and so on but it's hard none the less to emotionally deal with it. however I am not defeated and in much better humour and set of mind so I am prepared that the next reading will be a gain. hope you all doing well x

Thanks Phooka! My mind is back into it so I'm fine but the damage is already done so it will take extra time for me to make any progress but that's reality and just have to accept it and love on ☺ the meal was amazing and I had some vintage white wine which was the best wine I have ever tasted although I could not tell you the name of it 😂 the dessert was worth killing someone over.. chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream too good to describe x

Oh dear.. sounds like me last week.. So demotivating.. However cliche it sounds - stick to your plan and don't beat yourself up over those moments of weakness! You're doing amazing job, but you're just a human and hsve your upside downs. Chin up girl! x

it is not the scales we should pay so much attention to but our measurements (it is well known that muscle mass will show on the scales)-maybe this was the case for you & possibly why you put on 2 pounds -lost fat/gained muscle??

awww bless you. and then you'll get weeks where you loose and think " how did I do that I was really naughty". soooo upsetting, I really feel for you. it's so much effort to loose any weight.. it's only a blip. just get back on the wagon and carry on. your doing great...👌💕

Don’t lose faith, muscle are heavier than fat! You might have lost fat and the gain of muscle balanced it but on the scale it is heavier, don’t worry about that, keep going and stay strong Xx 💪🏻

That meal sounds great! 🤤 Why not take measurements as well as weighing? Not as easy as stepping on a scale but if you’re toning up you might see a loss in inches that isn’t happening on the scales. Great to hear you’re back to it fine though 👍🏻
