Happy Thursday!!!

I've hovered around 213.6 lbs mark for too many days. I decided to fast and ended it at the 24 hr mark. The meal post fast was a very large 1481 calorie tasty meal that was delightful. Total calories for the day was 1525.

The scale moved down 1.8 lbs and this got me thinking. This fast in particular wasn't that difficult. I was initially hesitant to fast considering that most of my previous attempts to fast proceeding a high carb day failed miserably. During this fast at the slightest sign of hunger, I got some tea, coffee, water or I took a quick walk and the hunger quickly subsided.

OMAD - One Meal a Day. There have been many others who have used this protocol for loosing weight and I think I will repeat today in the name of self experimentation.

My exercise for the day, a 31 minute walk at lunch and 11,164 steps total for the day was slightly below my 12K daily average.

Tomorrow I have a friend coming into town who wants to take me to lunch so I may switch this up by having lunch on Friday (approximately 14-16 hours after dinner tonight) and not eating again until Saturday lunch time to keep the OMAD trend going.

Onwards!!

I do OMAD whenever I go out for meals with friends or family. Gotta have some kind of social life and the one meal is usually sufficient and I don't feel guilty when I do it.

Me too @Fritzy 22

I make that meal out my ‘biggest meal’ and only try for protein shake snacks to take meds with the test of the time. 🙋🏻It helps with control when you are sitting and socialising!🤷🏻‍♀️

You have a strong will of control from what Ive read in your posts.. this test of strength will be nothing you are unable to handle...Onwards!

Thanks Doobrie, Fritzy, mlakhatch, smprowett, maxie4 and crankybuzzard. Nothing will change unless I change and I have to keep mixing it up. I am at 10,727 steps and I have plenty of day left. Go me Go!

Find what works for you and brings your body, mind and soul in balance. There is too much false information out there which leads to confusion. All the best.
