On Wednesday I managed to get a weeks free pass at the local gym so I have been very active as I try and get to grips with the equipment - it's quite intimidating for me as I am pretty rubbish on everything except the treadmills and feel self conscious. I have been persevering though and in todays session I was able to attempt to use a significant proportion of the machines as well as put a mat out to try out some lunges, a plank and squats that I had read about. All my muscles are currently feeling a bit tight.

I have just ate a massive meal of faggots mash potatoes and peas followed up by fruit crumble and custard -Yummy, hopefully I won't upchuck it all playing squash

Later tonight I am playing squash then popping down the local for a few beers wearing my newly purchased 32" Waist jeans. Tomorrow morning all being well I will be running in my fourth 5K park run.

im envious of your running sir. I use to compete many moons ago as a teenager mainly middle distance. I can only manage a weekly half hour jog now. youll need that 5k run though after consuming all that delicious food !!!

Yep Brains - Our son left home last week He wouldn't eat fish, lamb, liver, turkey and faggots so we tended not to cook it at home - We are catching up -Tonight it's fish curry.
