I seem to remember you took a member to task for posting a "factual but true" (I will win) comment on FS. Surely if Purple Korat wants to post pictures you have no right to complain it is her choice to do so like it or not.

So the question is are we being trolled and if so by whom. @BestEffort...you weren't a member when I Will Win was. Did you read through reams and reams of old posts to find the one specific comment that you claim was "factual and true"? I doubt it because it was taken down by the poster you quote before you joined. You also just posted a comment against another member's photograph so why do you have the right to complain but not Adpully. He isn't criticising the poster, he is just positing the query that someone may be taking advantage of the inherent "featured" reset issue to push an agenda down our throats. @Bowd65; I agree with you.

Forgot to say @adpully, I believe you can select whether to allow people to comment on your journal posts etc in your profile, which may address one aspect of your query.

BE/IWW Facts are generally true I don't dispute that. Did you mean factual but harsh? IIRC I suggested that tact might be better than bluntness that's all. This specific Journal entry was simply meant to start a dialogue regarding images being continually bumped to the top. Even trolls can get bored. Bowd65 and H2Go very well spotted.

Once again our favourite plate of broccoli beans and chips appears again today as if by magic -Bumped up to the top by another brand new member like many of the other 63 unheard of supporters. It's Skulduggery that I am sure.

I feel sorry for Purple Korat - I'm sure it's not her fault that FS keeps putting her posts at the top of FS. The problem is that FS members keep seeing it and clicking the "support" button so it keeps coming to the top! She's probably sick of seeing it herself. I am wondering if it's something to do with the app, where you can take a photo of the food you're eating. Oh, lol - yes it is - I just took a photo of my empty plate and it's in my news feed! How funny!

Adpully - there are dozens of new members each day on FS. They don't have to scroll through 100's of photos or journals. They just see the top photo and click on the support button. This keeps the photo at the top all the time.

Doobrie - I agree. The question is for me is why nearly all the supporters are brand spanking new private members who would have had 100's of photos or or journal posts to look through to support something. But choose PK's broccoli? this single photo has 63 supporters - More than 10x the average. It's spoiling things and I have suspicions someone is being very naughty.
Perhaps the site admin can set it up so that photos can only be re-bumped or supported to the top for say a week? That would tidy up the stream and make it nicer for all?

I think she probably uses the app, is not aware of the community thing and posts it as a record for herself. I used FS for weeks recording my weight and food in the app (not photos though) without having a clue you could interact with people.

I have had a quick response from the moderators - They say Via the app, users should be able to flag posts that they do not wish to see via the top right hand corner "..." icon. They have also adjusted the particular post.

I am also fed up of the same photos, with no explanation, at the top of my newsfeed
I am on the laptop today, but normally use my iPhone.. I seem to have more control over what I see on this laptop version of fs.
