Mrs T back to work today, so things should get back to normal. Most of the "leftovers" have gone, though there is still a slab of my mother-in-law's homemade all butter shortbread. It is to die for, but I weigh and count the portions I have, which is usually one piece with my morning coffee.
I have a fine selection of sweets I received as presents, but they are away for a day in the future, when I will have a few more calories to work with.

Make sure the shortbread stays just to die for rather than ending up causing your demise... Good to keep an eye on it. Make it last too - you get way more enjoyment from multi smaller pieces than a sudden rush. Savour and enjoy.
