John10251's Journal, 14 Dec 15

I haven't been eating excessively during the day but have been fighting the late night munchies and losing the battle. I also slacked off on my activity and I'm paying the price. I need to work harder to get back into the blue. I'm also seriously thinking about making my goal five pounds lighter to achieve a consistent appearance. At this close to my goal weight I look okay in the morning but by evening I have a slight belly. I'm going to have try to get in more consistent core training...

I think we all adjust our goal weight down at some point when we realize that fine-tuning makes a huge difference. I like that you're not willing to settle on "good enough."

Hang in there my friend. We need to make it through to the new year, beyond the holidays!

Ditto with soon3 -- amazing how a simple color on a bar can motivate, right? Great news is it is just FINE-tuning at this point and you're recognizing what needs to be done in short order before any 'real' damage takes place! (Not to mention it's a well-timed self-assessment for New Year's Resolutions!) Keep on keepin' on!
