THAT was a 'rant'!? If only Americans shared Britain's idea of ranting/complaining . . . that was merely an honest, "Losing weight is hard/frustrating/often painfully slow/fill-in-the-blank" post . . . no need to 'blame' anything/anyone for honesty! We're all going through much the same emotional journey, so this is not news! ;) But you really are doing an excellent job and that HAS given you many reasons to celebrate!! I like (and applaud) your adjusted approach to winter as well . . .

Yeah, well, the weather here is looking bad for the rest of the week. I might need some retail therapy to cheer me up! Walking round the shops still counts, doesn't it 😊

Definitely. Also trying on clothes can too. All that bending and stretching trying clothes on in small changing rooms ... I am sure that by now your old clothes are too big! ;) Enjoy your retail therapy. I am also going shopping - back to school stuff!

Lol, it's 14 pounds. I'm British, we do weight in stones and pounds. We have to do conversions all the time to enter weight on this site! Some younger Brits probably do kilogrammes though, as do the Europeans.
