I went without a kitchen sink for over a year when we moved into our tiny house, made do with a 9 inch bathroom sink till we got kitchen finished so I KNOW how excited you are!

Wow, that long without a kitchen sink? My poor husband would never hear the end of it from me. Hell, I think I'd learn how to install it myself, lol. (of course, hubby would have double the work re-installing it correctly, but hey, if you aren't gonna do it yourself, better get used to fixing my mistakes! lol)

Cindy i must have missed something…hurricane Ian affected your house?

Thanks so much everyone! Yes our home flooded in Ian, YOH, as did our cars and my fiancé’s business. To rebuild everything is a long term project. For the past few months we have been using a garage sink my fiancé installed while waiting for the kitchen to be rebuilt enough to get to the kitchen sink. And here we are - yay! 😁🥳

O Cindy im so sorry. Thank goodness there was not a personal injury or loss of life for you folks. That sounds really challenging and a bit overwhelming. We get floods over here but no hurricanes or tornados (well little tornados sometimes). Did you move to the same area?

Yes yoh thank goodness we all survived! That is what matters. The flooding was about 3 feet inside the home and we were able to get the floors and walls replaced. We came back to a partially repaired home in January. Most of our neighbors had water to the ceiling and have to tear down the home but ours was salvageable because it was built higher up on a little mound. It was rough but we are lucky.
