I’m trying to get motivated to track and weigh more often. It’s hard. I’m overwhelmed and lazy. I have started going to the gym twice a week with my friend, but I’ve only been running twice a week and not 3 or more, so I’m trying to find a spot for that third weekly run in my schedule. I did sign up for a race in the park in June. I think my friend will go too.

Some news: we have set a date for our wedding. Hopefully this will motivate me to lose those last 5 lbs again though it hasn’t yet lol, I feel more concerned about looking old. I don’t think other people “look old” even if they’re obviously a lot older than me but like many of you I’m my own worst critic. However I am still trying to eat healthy and stay fit.

One of my fs friends messaged me and said that he deleted his account for the time being, for personal reasons. I know this person is friends with several of you and he wanted me to pass along that he cares very much about fs friends and hopes to reconnect in the future.

It was so hot on my run today - real feel 109. I have to go earlier but there’s always so much else I need to get done!

Once you buy the dress, the urgency will kick in to lose the remaining pounds and tighten up the soft spots. There’s plenty of ways to look younger (which I will send via PM later), but in the meantime I will simply suggest sunblock, reapplied all day, every day.👰🏻‍♀️

You’re not lazy. Being overwhelmed by things can lead to “task paralysis” where you become so overwhelmed you don’t know how to get started and it’s a vicious cycle that keeps repeating. Do your best to do one good thing for yourself each day and then try the next day to do one more good thing. Even if you can’t exercise, Maybe you can try to drink more water or walk around the block. Being unkind to ourselves definitely doesn’t help and you deserve compassion! It’s ok! Humaning is hard!
