Doggone it! I had just typed about three paragraphs to post, and I accidentally closed the window! I hate when that happens!

I ended up continuing to drink Diet Coke for the rest of the day - no more water after the six 8-oz this morning. Even though I don't HAVE to drink a gallon of water tomorrow, because I won't be able to go back to the plasma center until at least Monday, I'm going to just shoot for 64 ounces tomorrow.

If it wasn't for this doggone bruising, I would be able to go back on Sunday. I did a bit of research on how to make drawing from a deep vein easier, and the article reminded me that once, when I had an iron infusion, they couldn't get a vein and they put a heating pad on my arm. That also is a good remedy for making a bruise disappear more quickly. So, I'm using the blue stretchy tape that they had the ice pack wrapped on me with, and I have a "Hot Hands" strapped to the area. I also ordered some cream that is supposed to fade bruises, and it should be delivered from Amazon tomorrow.

Today ended up being my biggest eating day of the month. Stress tends to do that to me. I topped out at 3,079 calories; but I'm not upset about it. With the exception of those stupid PopEm's, I actually made pretty good choices today. Thankfully, they'll be gone soon and I won't be tempted until the next BOBO sale. I never pay full price for Entenmann's donuts. If they're not HALF price, I don't buy them.

OH, one of the articles I read about how to make a bruise go away faster also said that pure aloe very rubbed on the bruise is helpful. I have an aloe plant in my window sill, and I will cut open a leaf and rub it on a couple of times tomorrow while I am waiting for the miracle bruise cream to arrive.

OK, going to try to accomplish a bit before I go back to bed. Hope everyone sleeps well tonight!
