This morning I did:
HASfit - 45 Min Full Body Workout with Dumbbells at Home - Strength Training Total Body Workouts with Weights

Sorry Wifey! I'm sure I'll do one of Heather's soon, but this workout just appealed to me today. I seem to be preferring full body workouts with a rest day (with a walk) in-between right now.

This was a great workout and I didn't have to modify anything using my 5kg weights, which were quite challenging for some of the moves. Hoping I won't be too sore tomorrow.

Yesterday we went for a Meetup walk and we were out for 3 hours pretty much walking the whole time. Sadly I'd forgotten my cell at home so didn't track the steps, but I tracked it as 2 hours at 3km/h on here anyway. The weather looks good for us to go for a walk tomorrow as well and then I'll do another workout on Thursday morning. I could then do another one on Saturday, but that will be weather dependent. If it's good we have a group walk at 10:30 - if it's bad it will probably be cancelled and then I can do a workout instead.

Getting back to counting calories yesterday was not perfect. Today is better and then I hope to even things out for the rest of the week. I would love to aim for 1600 average daily calories so that is what I'll start with, but will see how things progress. Last year I was struggling (and failing) to stick to my 1800 target. I still did lose some weight at that level though, but I know that in the past if I could hit 1600 the results were far better so I need to make some changes to make that happen. It will mainly be weekend indulgences with hubby that will need to be trimmed and I'm hoping to be more resolute with healthier choices.

We are doing veganuary this year again. We've been vegetarian for over 3 years now so it's not that much of an adjustment and we had a month of eating vegan in November as well and I do enjoy it. We will probably continue to eat much the same for the rest of the year too although we're not quite strict enough to call ourselves vegan just yet. Not sure if we ever will, but we do what we can.

Hope you all are having a great week so far! xxx

Thanks Mermee! I wish I had done it when I was much younger already, but it does seem far easier these days with so many options in the stores. I take my hat off to you for doing it for 5 years!!! We have stuck to the basics that we know we like so far and I haven't thought that my meals look very exciting or appealing - so haven't posted pics, but the month is young so hopefully I will surprise myself. I did get some great vegan cook books from the library, but haven't chosen a dish to make yet. Anyhoo, hope you're having a good week! 💕
