Breco, has posted some Cicada pics so I'm sharing mine. I came across this guy in our front garden when I was trimming dead leaves & blooms off the Lenten Roses. I have only seen a solitary one here & there but we can hear their roar off in the distance.

When I was a kid.. Years Ago!! My brother and I would capture them and tie a thread on them and then watch them fly around us... Hmmm.. I wonder if they're edible??
