I realized a couple of days ago I'm coming up on my 5 year ( FIVE years!) anniversary of starting my journey to better health. It's not til July, but starting the count down til our Beach trip the first week of June reminded me. July is also the 2nd anniversary of joining the Gym & starting a regular workout program. It all started with me deciding to try to lose 10 lbs. before going to the beach. I lost 8, but it was just the beginning. After the trip, I kept going & eventually I was 35-40 lbs. down (fluctuations).

It's nice that instead of anguishing over losing a few lbs. so I'll feel better in a swimsuit, I was researching low calorie beach snacks yesterday. 😎⛱️ It does give me incentive to step up the workouts & watch the intake, but if I stay exactly the same, I'm OK.

Speaking of workouts, I forgot to put in my update for April that I didn't miss a single workout....13 out of 13!

Workout yesterday was good. I'm still trying to master a raise in weight on several machines.

Not sure if I'll get any gardening in this weekend. The forcast is for rain but it looks like the sun is trying to poke thru. Thursday, I added some more annuals to my planters....white impatiens, begonias, snapdragons (new to me) & some geraniums with leaves multicolored like coleus. I also raked an area, watered plants & cleaned (as in put away stuff) on the front porch of the garden shed.

I need to make breakfast, then decide what to do for the day....
