Hey Judy, yes, as soon as you say ‘fry’ a lot of old school diet thinking goes ‘fattening!’ But most stir fry cooking is done through producing steam. U find them really satisfying.

I love stir fries. It's my favorite thing to make, and I like to think I'm pretty good at them. Lol I don't tend to cook with meat, so I've always enjoyed steaming and frying vegetables.
I think 'fry' has bad connotations, so people assume it's incredibly unhealthy, but you can actually fry to your heart's content and still have an incredibly healthy meal.

One downside with stir frying, though, is that you tend to fry away a lot of the nutrients, which is why I sometimes prefer to just steam, as that keeps lots of nutrients in.
