Got up late this morning again (meaning laying in bed for an hour on my phone), but then did:

Sydney Cummings - 30 Minute Glutes and Abs Burn Workout | BURN - Bonus Day 1

Nice variety of moves for a change and included more than one deadlift so I'm a happy camper.

Sometimes it's a person or post on FatSecret that inspires me to get up and workout and other days it's finding a workout I want to do - I very seldom do the same one twice and never know what I feel like until that day. Sometimes also depends on how tired/sore I am or if I've worked a different area the day before - like today for instance (did upper body yesterday) - and didn't have time for jump rope. Also have only recently started trying to fit in a daily workout - even if it's just 15 mins jump rope or a short walk. So tomorrow I might do a 30 min total body strength and then 30 min cardio - or I might just leave it for Thursday. Will see how I feel and if I can get up earlier.

Scale said 70.5kg this morning, which gives me hope for Friday's weigh-in.

Aah Shereen - thank you for the heads-up - and sorry for such a late reply - but I've been waiting for a client to respond to an email I sent her this morning and she's just confirmed so I'm off to a meeting on Friday morning. And 6:30 is a bit early for us - we usually are there around 8:30ish so chances are we would have missed you by two hours. We might go on Saturday again if your plans happen to change. Not sure what time your dog-training starts though and was wondering if it's at Zeekoevlei which I drove past a few weekends ago and saw some training there. I feel somehow kismet or the universe will put us in the same place and time at some point, but thanks for the nudge - hope there will be another opportunity. And hope you have a great day too!

Thanks Ccandco! I find it's much easier to keep up regular exercise if I do things I enjoy so I'm really glad I found a few YouTube channels that keep posting new and different workouts. I'm also not keen on some workouts where they have a timer beeping every so often - drives me nuts. Hope you're having a lovely day too!

Love her, I maintained a semblance of home training on her resistance band workouts during hard lockdown!

That's great Robyn.09! I maintained through the hard lockdown too with Sydney and using some heavier weights we've since had to sell so I loved it. I might get some resistance bands after our move overseas as they'll be easier to travel with, but I can't wait to settle down again and get a proper weight set and a brand new mat. You are so close to goal - well done!!! 💪👍👏
