Draglist's Journal, 01 Dec 20

Woke at 225.6, down 2.8 from yesterday. I absolutely could not sleep last night after fasting all day. The fight or flight hormones were strong. Got about 4.5 hours after slipping back into slumber from 6 am to 8:15. Happy with November results and will do the same thing in December: 16:8 and/or OMAD, 1648 calories per day consisting of 155 protein, 92 fat, and 50 carbs. Happy December! UPDATE: Another big whoosh day and a 225.1 weigh-in at 4:30. Finishing off the pot roast tonight.

Good result though. As things are I may have to do a few fasting days in December as well. They do help. Yeah you had a good November!!! Your protein approach is working

You are doing great. Wish I knew how to counter the sleeplessness due to fasting. It's miserable.

I do 20:4 and get about 1100 calories in a day and haven’t noticed anything different with my sleep. I’ve been doing this about 6 months now. I do 5 days of the fasting and 2 days not worrying about what I eat or when.

Wow Lala. How can you fast for 5 days straight each week? I can barely get through 42 hours. I bet you are very healthy due to the fasting.

I eat everyday! Just in a 4 hour period. The benefits are endless and lots of top athletes are doing it. I follow Dr.Rhonda Patrick and watched probably all of her interviews on YouTube. But she was on the Joe rogan podcast and went into detail and ever since I’ve been doing it! The biggest difference I noticed was how quick my mind is and focused. It’s like all your senses are heightened because you are almost in a “survival mode” I seriously urge you to try it! It’s not as hard as it sounds and after 2 weeks you won’t even have hunger pains really!
