Thanks to everyone for your words and supports yesterday, it was really comforting. ❤️

Today I am just feeling numb. I had foolishly pinned so much hope on my role as an auntie and how motivating that was, so now I don't really know what my "why" is!

Any thoughts on how to re-evaluate my goals without concluding "what's the point?!" would be most welcome.

All I can say, from my own experience of losing 3 babies is that it does get easier. You/they will never forget the loss. When eventually they are ready and the time is right (not that they will be thinking about ot yet) they can try again. My previous 2 losses (one ectopic then 2 months later a missed miscarriage) where almost 3 years ago now I do still think about them and they will always be in my heart. but now I have a bouncy 6 month old rainbow baby who I love completely. sorry went on a bit of a ramble there but my point is there is always hope so there is always a point to what you want to achieve. 💕

Not foolish at all!! Parents' worst nightmare and extremely heartbreaking for the families of the parents. We all get every excited for a baby to join our families and they leave a big hole in how you picture your future ❤️ I think motivation is very personal to each individual, perhaps others can share what motivates them? I myself am motivated by weight related issues in my family and I want to be able to buy nice clothes from slim people stores and look better. It's okay to feel lost and demotivated though, don't beat yourself up if you have zero motivation. Its so important to keep having discussions with your family and all supporting eachother. You make sure you take care of yourself xx
