Motivation for me is a daily thing; I can only focus on the day at hand. My stress and getting discouraged comes when I try to push too far ahead instead of working on just what I can do today that is better for my health. Sometimes, it all boils down to managing a single moment, with a single choice in the right direction for better health. And when I can't seem to find the motivation in myself, saying okay take a minute to rest and try again.

I keep my motivation by having a clear understanding of what my goal is. My goa is not to gain weight, so I simply don’t over eat

Also I use Google fit to track my activities such a steps or my walks made during the day and how much calories I burned 🔥. I'm feeling very down those past couple days, but walking outside keeps me stay on track. The connection with nature keeps me calm, clearing my mind and making me to move on.

ChestY I'll give you an explanation of motivation 😁 I'm power walking at the moment and it's starting to rain. I have no ☔ on me but I'm not going home until I done my 1 hour walk. It's just like you have to go to work and " Morning boss, listen I'm not coming work because it's raining. I might come tomorrow if it stops raining" 😂 😂 😂

I found weighing myself morning and night gave me a great insight as to daily fluctuations in weight which makes it easier to accept the "bad" formal weigh-ins. I allow myself chocolate and biscuits but make alterations around that day, e.g.Loads of Choccy on a Monday, have a salad on the Tuesday to balance out the over calrorie intake the day before. Not allowing one's self to eat something makes one more miserable. I use google fit and pacemaker to track steps so, on weeks I gain, i look to see what exercise I did (or didn't do) and in giving myself a reason that the gain happened means I can try change that rather than flailing in the dark as to what's going wrong.
