Sometimes food is sneaky. Try making your menu in advance and logging all of the food in advance (even if you take it back off of your log) so that you can see exactly where you stand.

Jamie, I've got an app on my Kindle Fire called "Fast Food Nutrition - Lite". It has the menu nutrition values for a lot of the major food chains. It comes in handy whenever I do get the chance to go out and eat. I use it in conjunction with my FatSecret app.

It is tough, but remember a lot of those foods have a TON of sodium in them too so the weight maybe a little bit of water weight. This whole journey is a live and learn experience I think too like you said.

Thanks all - I typically upload in advance what I am eating and if going out. However, this was an out all day thing and it is night time now and going home and starving. The choice was chicken tenders which had more carbs than I anticipated, but live and learn. I know now and will probably just go hungry until I get home...LOL

Yep, food is very sneaky. Everyone said what I would have lol. Sodium is a killer for sure, can definitely tell when I've had too much, my rings get tight.
