There's a fine line between helpful and preachy. I'm seeing a lot of comments like, 'omg! that's so bad for you!' & 'dont eat that!' Everything has calories, fats, sugars, etc. So what if someone is eating something with sugar in? Maybe it's the only sugar they've had all day. Maybe all week. They didn't eat 1kg of the stuff. You can't live your life eating veg. Everything in moderation. Balanced. If someone is shaming you for eating something, punch them in the b***s for me.

I agree 100% It makes you feel crap when you’ve been trying really hard and then people criticise your efforts. Sometimes the thing they’re criticising is a million times better than the thing you would have picked originally

I find it helpful to 'try' to only share my own experience, rather than telling others what to do :) Also, when 'consuming advice' I factor in a person's personal experience.

I see remarkably little of that. The odd person around who are very enthusiastic about how they diet and do get a bit preachy There was a troll yesterday but I think it got removed

Definitely loads of helpful advice here from amazing users! I'd never seen it before but I saw it three times this week.

totally agree to survive any weight loss on a consistent basis and to keep it off we all need some of the nice things in life to keep us satisfied i lost 11lb laat week by eating good healthy food and having 1 can of guinness every other night which satisfied my cravings and allowed me to stay strong i dont suggest everyone goes and has Guinness while trying to lose wait but im sure you all get what im saying

With ya Yasmine, I like stodgy stuff but its ALL calibrated, some people’s comments aren’t needed or warranted, it’s seeing you & some others made me decide to join xx

a little of what you fancy doesn't hurt you. You need to have treats else you will crave everything and binge!

I’m with you for sure Yasmine! I’ve had one or two comments about my food choices. I’ve been at this long enough to know to take some things with a pinch of salt. Generally have some form of “everyone is entitled to their opinion” comeback. Seems to shut them up x

Oh and tonight I’m off to enjoy a lovely curry and a few gins from my favourite curry house and you know what? I don’t give a monkeys tail of what anyone has to say about it 😂

Totally agree Miss Yasmine,my husband is diabetic, and we want to switch it to non diabetic.so I ask him to do diet.I am very strict to his diet.5:2 diet but he made it 3:4.very pleased with that. But every now and then I make muffin for him and have treats. You don’t need to cut everything.Just need to be careful.❤️
