cindylynnwho's Journal, 09 Oct 12

Hi! I've been doing very well, eating very well. Yesterday we did our running late because of rain and it was cooler than it would have been earlier, so we were able to go faster and run ten more minutes than usual. (total 40 mins run, 10 mins walk). I downloaded a bunch of interesting podcasts from madnessradio.net so I can learn and exercise at the same time. I also did my meditation yesterday, although it was hard because my brain feels cloudy from TOM. I think I'm a little bloated, too- or it could just be the fried food I ate Sunday after my weight seemed to be going farther down than I planned. I do need to make ten minutes to stretch, because I am very sore from my run. Hoping for an easy day at work today, and maybe I can go home early since I worked so much overtime last week ( and I'm not supposed to work overtime, so when client situations call for it, I just take time off next time I get a chance.)
grateful for:
my kitty cat
my hubby
the park down the street
my parents
my siblings
my friend laurel is pregnant
possible short day
rest
animal planet
my running shoes
the pumpkin shaped squash I bought at trader joes for 69c and put on my desk
you.

Exercising in the fall is my favorite! I just started running (couch to 5K), but I think the fall is my favorite. LOL

For your soreness perhaps a nice soak in the tub tonight with epson salts would help. It may also help relax your mind too. I have no clue if you can meditate in the bath, but I would.. :D Hope you feel better as the day goes on. Congrats on the run.. and <3 the grateful for list :)

Great job - 40 mins run - awesome! Stretching is key! I found a hoot owl at Walgreens for my office. I put the candy by the owl and if you come close to her she hoots and her eyes blink!

Agree with Pam, if you've got one- tub, salt, water as hot as you can stand- fixes just about anything. Great job on the running, though! Excellent! Fall hit where I am, too, but where as yesterday was 44-50F and cloudy, today it's back up to 85F and sunny. (-_-; ) Texas weather, 'joy.' (that's my sarcasm, there) If you didn't have joint problems, or allergies before, our abrupt weather changes will likely give them to you...
