I am way too self conscious as well! I work on the machines and most face out the huge windows. That way I don’t have anyone looking at me and I’m not staring at someone else. Toward the end I use the machines that face everything else. After many months I’m finally comfortable enough to use the forward facing ones first as long as it’s not super busy. To this day, if someone is sitting there staring at me waiting on the machine, I will get up and let them have it rather than have them looking at me haha. Also, go in clothes that you can move easily in and that you feel more confident in! If you don’t feel good in a sports bra and tight workout pants then opt for baggie sweats. If you dislike both then consider some yoga pants with a cotton or wicking tee. I’ve gone in jeans before! Some days that’s what I’m wearing when I decide to drop in and others I’m not feeling it and I love my jeans. A good pair of jeans that for just right are to me what a fancy dress and heels are to most women 🤪.

I'm so happy to hear from you all! FS helps me a lot. Thank you! Btw I tried to train for an hour and it wasn't too bad, I was just so shy to show my huge stomach in front of people but i still did something :)

If it helps I try and always have prepared food in the fridge that I can eat when I’m snacky. Filling but healthy food. And I try not to keep food in the house I find tempting. Because I suck at resisting temptation. I’m iffy on the gym. But I just bought a Cubii to go under my desk. Since getting it I’m getting in between 6-8 miles of striding per day! And it’s set up so it’s more awkward not to use it than to use it. The more you can do without making it willpower, the more likely you’ll stick to it.
