bit surprised this morning. Went chest-nutting yesterday, Picked a carrier bag full but also ate tons. At least 300g worth. Also was supposed to do coastal walk today but one look at weather decided to go out last night. Thoroughly ate without a care. cant find it in menu so list it here.

Torta Ricotta e Pistacchio Pistachio and ricotta cream between soft sponge, decorated with chopped pistachios and hazelnuts. This was the wife's but she didn't like it so i ate it.
I had Sicilian pastry's. which consist of. 1- Barchette. Boat shaped shortbread pastry with a white chocolate cream filling and topped with crushed hazelnut. 1- Cannoli Siciliani. A tube shaped shell of fried pastry dough with a lemon cream filling. 1- Aragostine Flaky pastry in the shape of lobster tail with a chocolate hazelnut cream filling, dusted with icing sugar. all covered with fresh cream.
Then finished of daughters final scoop of ice cream.
1 250mm glass of birra moretti
followed by an espresso with 2 cantuccini.
with the rest of my monthly alcohol allowance when i got home. 1 glass sauvignon blanc.
Got on scales this morning and have actually lost .2 of a kilo
Nice start to the day.
Now going to be blanching-peeling and freezing chestnuts for a couple of hours.
