126.7 lbs. 😃 The extra walking appears to be working, along with several soup dinners this week. Guess they’re lower in calories than I thought, and I don’t eat them with crackers or bread.
Measured the waistline: 28.5”

128.2 lbs./58kg!!! 💃🏻🤸🏻♀️
Stepped on the scale, recalibrated it, stepped on it again, same result, HOORAY! New FS low, and now I can check off my first mini-goal of losing all of Summer 2022's weight gain. So I'm rolling up my sleeves to tackle the remaining 13 lbs. which should be gone by June if I lose 3 lbs./month.
Next mini-goal is 118 lbs./53.5kg, which puts me back to where I was in 2018, before I blew up to a 170 pound, waddling duck-human. I should fit into all the remaining clothes in my closet, and just in time to wear the cute sundresses😎👗👙

Losing 3.8 kg a Week

130.6 lbs.! Felt lighter this morning, so even though I have been trying to limit myself to once a week, I took another ride on the scale. Looks like the plateau is over.😀
I did OMAD yesterday (One Meal a Day, for you Newbies). A TRUE OMAD, meaning 1 meal, NOT a gigantic meal for 3 people, nor 1 meal plus 1,000 kcal worth of snacks. I had 2 cups of edamame seasoned with soy sauce and rice vinegar, a plain baked sweet potato with the skin, and a handful of cherry tomatoes. Water. About 550 kcal. It obviously worked, though 8 hours later I went to bed hungry; it took me an hour to fall asleep with my stomach growling.
An effective way to push off the plateau, but not one I'll be employing again anytime soon.

131.4 lbs. Some is better than none, but it’s been like pulling teeth to get the scale to budge the past couple of weeks. Hard push now to finish January strong and get below 130!

For the record, I came to FS to lose weight and improve my health. I am a firm believer in math & science (not religion, hope, prayers, luck, magic, or voodoo) as the basis to achieve these goals. From there, it is hard work, exercise, and eating nutritious food to burn the fat and fix the bloodwork & internal organs.
If any of you want to discuss religion on your own journals, I will respect that and scroll on by. I ask that you extend that same courtesy to me, and refrain from proselytizing on my journal threads. Comments related to diet/weight loss, lab work and doctor visits, and all things exercise are welcome and encouraged.
Today's Journal: It's the day after my latest Omicron vaccine shot💉, feel fine, no reaction (just like the previous experience in September), so got up and did a quick yoga video, and am now sipping coffee and eating a mango.
