That's better, although planning on a truly unhealthy macaroni cheese today to celebrate my late mothers birthday, it was her absolute favourite meal 🤗. I have hoovered and jet washed my car today, so off set some of the calories that way 😊

I wasn't going to enter my weight today, as I am shocked with myself, pure emotional eating, none of it tasted, just shovelled. My house sale was on the verge of collapse, thankfully all resolved, but my buyer wants a show home for 'needs some work' money. The good bit though is that I am off to Cornwall tomorrow for the day to look at 2 more houses, hopefully one will be as amazing as it looks on paper.

so it seems I have to be mega strict with my eating now in order to lose any weight, no nibbles. Guess that's the joy of menopause, I will continue down this path till I hit my goal and then see if I can introduce the odd treat.

Reset button 🧿 firmly pressed 2 days ago, feeling focused and strong. I have done a weekly menu with shopping list to match. I will log each meal to ensure I am staying within my limits. I plan to do a decent walk 3 times a week and slightly less on the other days. 🤜🤛💪

Need to press that reset button and get back to caring for myself! I do no exercise to speak of and I buy things to nibble over a few days and then shovel them down my throat like the world is about to end. So starting tomorrow I am going to work on my self control, start to move more and listen to what my body is telling me. Might start my journals again, writing down successes and slip ups might keep me more focused. I find handwriting journals makes them more real, something about your hand running across a page just deepens the meaning.
