Sorry that I haven't been posting. I came down with a really bad flu that knocked me out for quite a while..high fever..bronchitis..still lingering. I missed out on going to the gym for a long while. Couldn't follow my diet because I couldn't prep food. I was scared to check my weight thinking I gained, but was surprised to find I stayed exactly the same - right to the same ounce LOL. I guess that's a good thing? Finally feeling well enough to hit the gym. Not as much energy as I'd hope to have, but not contagious, and definitely not as bad as before. Hope everyone is doing well on their fitness journey!

Started a carb cycling diet - 12 week program. On day 7. Now that I'm engaged I know that I want to look great on my wedding! But I'm just enjoying the ride...yesterday was my engagement party and I had tortilla chips and 2 pieces of cake and I enjoyed every minute of it. Life is about MODERATION - you can lose weight and still enjoy eating!

So...I haven't been on here in a while because I've been in VEGAS! Before I left, I was 156.8. Scared to see the damage with all that drinking and the buffets. But forget that. I have some good news..I'm ENGAGED! My man got down on one knee on the balcony of the 53rd floor of the Cosmopolitan. Very romantic. Won't be checking in my weight till about sometime next week

Sometimes we gotta let go of the little worries and just enjoy the good times in life!
