I’ve been having those moments lately (quite frequently) where I just want to stuff myself to the point of being uncomfortable. I so badly just want to cheat and gorge myself on something disgustingly high in calories... I won’t though because I’ve worked so hard to get to this point, but the temptation has been real lately.

I’m in such a funk right now. I just need to push forward, clean my house and hopefully I’ll feel a little better.

I know how you feel, Ive been there. There are days I want to give up and eat candy and chips. Its so hard. I mentioned on someone elses journal today that when I got to work there were cherry danishes on my desk. I wanted them so badly. I just got back from a doctors appointment with my husband, I am worried about him and the danishes were staring me in the face. I wanted to eat the box, but I knew that in the end, I would just feel bad about myself. It wouldnt help my worry, it would just make me feel worse. You can do this! Put on some music, dance while you clean, and yuo can get through this!!

Thanks guys! I opened the curtains, let the sun in and turned on my music. sometimes it’s just so dang easy to fall into your old unhealthy routine. I’m usually away from my prison aka my house but today is a do nothing day until my kids get home and I’m just wallowing in my own pitty lol.

Lol how funny, I actually did eat half an apple with lunch. I think I was just hangry this morning cause I skipped breakfast.

Murph lol..Im not sure whats causing the funk sweetie but this happens to me too....I can only said if you focus on how you will feel after you stuff yourself with foods that will cause you to gain maybe you wont...or if you need something just pick one thing and not tons of it savor the flavor ...Any way I wish your old funk away and you feel better soon;)

Last night I was exactly where you are! My "little voice" kept calling to me to get a bag of chips and have at it. "You will feel so much better" it said. I said out loud in my car, "NO! Not happening! The same problems will be there after you get done eating that stuff except you will feel worse because you went off your eating plan." Don't give in to that voice that is trying to derail you! Make sure you are good to yourself and get some exercise..even a walk around the neighborhood. Put on your shoes and step out the door. 20 minutes - you will come back with a new attitude. You can do this thing!!!

ny_shelley a great inspiring post and I agree with you and I so love chips more than sweets so I get you lol. I try to focus on how I feel when I go the opposite direction than I want to go...I hate that feeling...so I usually stop right there lol;)
