Are you channeling Commander Taggart, or Buzz Lightyear? Commander Taggart saved the world, and it might take that kind of daring act to get into shape! Best wishes for success!

I'm scared to share some deep changes I've made because I don't want to disappoint if I screw up. I've been logging changes in my google keep and I will transfer them over on Saturday when I have more data. Fingers crossed. I hope I don't mess this up. The struggle is real.

I am making changes, too. Change is good. For the good or bad ... it's always worth a shot. As long as you try, you do not fail.

I'm with you 100% Ches, whatever you do, try to see if it can be sustainable for you...there shouldn't be a true finish line, just a transition to habits, WOE, activity levels that accommodate our personal lives' while maintaining a healthy weight and BF%. Wishing you great success as always, your buddy Steven!!

Hey Ches, one thing I'm sure of is that no true friends here will be disappointed in any changes you make. We each have to figure out our own way. I got off track for a long time and couldn't seem to get back, couldn't get into the right mindset. Finally when I was mentally ready, keto was the way back because it is so straightforward...it got my focus and drive back. But I also know that for me I won't sustain that level of carb restriction indefinitely so I will transition next week to where I found my long term success at which was targeting macros/calories and staying away from refined carbs. You've go to do what works for you. You've done fantastic and I'm sure you'll find the path forward that fits what you need to continue to succeed.

Wow Jim, that is almost exactly my WOE...targeted macros, very careful with refined high GI carb intake. I'm also an intermittent, Intermittent Faster, not always IF but for sure when big calorie social events are on the agenda. By the way, I never have any trouble getting my fat and carb intake macros met, the protein macro is much harder to maintain (and I love meat).

Steven, it does sound like our plans are pretty similar. Because I have heart disease I'm not too keen on LCHF for too long, for myself. Others have done very well on it. I need to re-establish my macro targets but I'm looking for a more moderate level of healthy fats, at least 90g of protein a day, with good amounts of fiber and carbs from whole foods and keeping refined carbs at bay. That's where I feel best, and where I was able to reverse the heart disease.
