Out of interest, how is Mrs T coping with you fasting? Is she cooking meals for herself and sitting at the table on her own? Just wondering. Have fun ta dance class later 👍

We seldom eat at the table, usually on our lap in front of the TV. But yes, Madge does her own things meals wise. If we are having a "cooked" meal, as against convenience food, then we have that on my eating days. Mind you, we seldom eat the same, even before I was fasting. Madge often cooks things then changes her mind and prepares something different for herself. (If I should die horribly, please pass that information to the police)

😂😂😂 Duly noted re the police, Jocko. I usually cook two different meals but I don't mind as I'm the one who needs to lose weight, not the OH. Frequently though, I just do without the potato element and add buttered cabbage or cauliflower cheese which he can't stand and I adore.

Dancing went well. Tutor put together a fancy link step, to turn us through 180°, and it is fast and difficult. We'll get there though. Found out that my step-daughter is moving from Hong Kong to Chile! She has done all her work for her PhD so has got herself a job somewhere in the back of beyond. She spent a few days there while on her Brazil trip and really liked the country and people. She had better start learning Spanish!!

Very cool for your step-daughter! She's seems bright enough to learn Spanish quickly. That is funny about the meals. We can notify the police at any time you don't post for a couple of days. Ha Ha! So you best let us know when you are away and can't post for days on end. :)

She already speaks Mandarin (having studied it at University in New Zealand), a little Cantonese, French and Italian, so she will probably learn the local Spanish without a great deal of difficulty. She has an ear for languages, lucky devil.

Society will be easy for her, having French and Italian already. Great that she had the opportunity to live in such diverse places 😀 Chile is lovely, very nice people, and scenic from top to bottom. Will she be in Santiago? Hope she'll have the chance to travel around.

Her mum failed to ask where she was going(!) but when she was there during her Brazil trip I know it was the back of beyond, with no mobile phone or easily available internet. Sounds like the Scottish Highlands!!

Sounds good, kind of! Chilean campsites tended to have cold showers only, as far as I remember. Things may have changed, but we were there in 1990, backpacking, and the whole country felt like it was stuck in the 1950s. In the south it is pretty much like Scotland, so you can imagine that the cold showers are bracing! Of course she probably wouldn't even be on a proper campsite..... It is a beautiful country though 😀
