Dads on train heading home. We had a wonderful visit! The weather was fantastic! I got my workout in as soon as I got home ;-) we ate out everyday and night but I did ok except for Saturday. Back to the grind :-)

At about 10pm I was at 1200 cals w 1700out. I was "hungry". I stay up until 12-1ish. I settled for a cup of Fage, 8 cashews, 2tsp almond butter, 30 tiny extra dark chocolate chips, and a kalamata fig. I used 1/2tsp of a water enhancer (target brand)(exact to skinny girl)(pineapple coconut). This brought me to 1600. Satisfied me. Anyone, I'm trying to build muscle not lose weight anymore, if I have a deficit of 6-700ish cals, does it matter if I eat late to create a surplus? Thanks. I know from looking at my journal I should focus on other factors than eating late but these last four days were out of the ordinary...

That's great you saw your dad again. Treasure your parents, they don't last forever. I loved my parents so much. I was so lucky to have such loving people as parents. They spoiled me so bad. I will always have such great respect for them.

Warren, thanks for the reminder of how important your folks really are. Being in the health industry all my life I lived a bit of a morbid life when it came to life itself. I've been out now going on four years and can appreciate life as we live it now. My parents raised all three of us good enough to where we all r pretty good kids. Now I try to spoil them :-) my father in law lives with us and I am his caretaker for my day job. I don't treat him as a patient but as my husbands father. Time for bed goooood night. 😴

We got this! Last night I thought I'd have some ice cream. I put it in on here and saw the carb and sugar and text Ava to tell david to forget it. Well he brought it back and said, u r eating this u need fat". It didn't even look good it was dark chocolate and soft serve. I told him I'd try it. Took to tiny bites and said I can't do it it doesn't even taste! I said I'd put it in freezer for his dad. Thankfully that worked to get him off my case. Lol. I had some fage almonds and 1/2t honey instead. It was late but was watching hockey and they were about to go into OT so I went ahead and ate I need to anyway. Even though I'm unsure of dinners cals. Have a good day Mom :-)
