Without intending to, I skipped lunch yesterday. By the time we got home from the dentist & and shopping, it was almost dinner time. I had a small snack of popcorn to tide me over. Calories were low & it's reflected on the scales today.

Gym today. I was losing my gumption by the end of my workout, but I persevered to finish.

There was a big rain while we were at the Gym....apparently some bad storms that took down some trees in the area. We went to Home Depot after & the sales lady in the garden department said the wind was blowing all kinds of things around during the storm. I had to exchange the purple basil I bought a couple of weeks ago. It was deader than a door nail. All the other herbs are flourishing, so I don't know what happened to this plant. I got my money back & the basil was apparently on sale cause it was about half the price.

We also bought grass seed & some bags of combo seed starter, dirt & fertilizer the sales lady recommended. We're going to try to grow grass again in the center of our front yard, which is mostly naturalized gardens. It had weedy grass in the Spring, I had decided to let grow & just weedeat to keep short. The darn weeds decided to just die, leaving bare dirt 🙄 It's a fairly small area, so hopefully, we'll be successful.

Fun, good luck on the garden! that's a WORKOUT!

Yeah, Jenjabba, I'm often more worn out after working in the gardens than at the Gym. That may be cause I don't pace myself like at the Gym. I break my time at the Gym into 3 sections with a short rest between each. I also have a snack just before I hit the weight floor. When I'm outside I have to remind myself to sit down & hydrate. I think that's also why I'm able to maintain at a slightly lower weight in tbe summer.
