I hate lifting in the mornings but its the only time I can do it today so lets start the day off in misery with with some 145lb Bulgarian split  squat sets 🤣

Thanks 😁 the dedication right now is sitting on the side of a field in my work bibs hat gloves and winter coat watching my son play lacrosse in 31 degree weather with 15mph winds 🥶🥶

You really are a beast! Your dedication is apparent and I applaud you! For me working out in mornings is preferred. I like to get my day started that way. If I wait until later I feel tired…but…I did all my workouts in the evenings when I worked so I get it💪🏼💜

Today we switch. I’ll be doing a workout tonight. I hate it. I’m tired, had to work today, ate junk all weekend…I’m mad. Just feel gross. Life happens. Just glad it’s not often. 🫥

Oh my gosh!! I just started doing these a few weeks ago with trainer. I called them lunges she called them split squats. I LOVE this movement!!! Envious of the weight you are holding. I think mine is with 15 pound dumbbells.

Got er done. Made a goal and reached it today. Pretty pumped. 💪🏻😎 YOH I’ve done these for a few years. I’m quite shocked that you’ve been going to a gym with a personal trainer for this long and have never done split squats? Any reason? I always think I lack so much by not going to gums, if I was as long as you and no one introduced me to these I’d be ticked honestly.

Wifey-probably because of THR? My hip flexors are not very strong so we have been working on flexibility. We do a ton of squats, jumping squats, lunges walking lunges but these were new. So i guess i dont know. I dont go to an actual gym per se tho it is fully stocked with top of the line equipment. It is a physical therapy rehab facility. It is a pilot program for this company that they have purchased only the very best equipment and loads of it and have a “bridge” trainer who works with pt patients post pt. It can be used as a gym but it is pretty expensive to do that. I pay around 400 a month for 2 30 min sessions (plus 15 min after where i do leg press and inner/outer on my own) per week.
