Ugh. Emergency accountability. feeling like ordering takeout. But when I do takeout, I can't do it like a normal healthy person. I buy enough for a family of four and eat until I hate myself.

No no no.

Not going to do it. I can make a healthy meal from frozen veggies and pantry items. Just because I'm busy doesn't give me licence to binge.

Thank you for sharing. You described exactly how I used to eat that got me up to 275 pounds. 3-4 times a week and it didn't take long to pack on the weight. I love that we now know we have a choice. Sometimes it is easy to make the "right" food choice and sometimes it is REALLY REALLY hard not to make the wrong choice! Good for you!

I was considering take-out tonight as well... must be something in the air. It's far to easy to binge-eat and hate yourself later. I frequently don't get home until late, and it feels like such an effort to cook something. I've compromised, and bought frozen Smart One's Orange Chicken w/rice for dinner. Then all I have to do is make a salad or steam some veggies and I'm set. Stay strong!

I went off track yesterday Notelaine, back on track today... I understand when its busy at work, how there is a time crunch and the stomach is grumbling like winnie the pooh.

I survived!!!! Thank you for all of the encouragement! I ended up making my favorite quick comfort meal. Curried chickpeas with cauliflower and lemon-ginger rice. Not the healthiest meal, but certainly better than takeout.
