Feeling crappy. Tore a muscle in my back yesterday :( No heavy lifting for at least a week, and get to spend my day in a haze thanks to the muscle relaxers. Not a fun way to kick off the weekend.

More than a week if you tore something. Never forget recovery and healing is part of training. Don't come back early from a serious injury.

JP is right on. Injury, when we're not paying attention, is our bodies way of getting our attention and protecting itself. Ease back in when the time comes and raise the intensity slowly. It will pay off in the end. Hurrying back tends to crush us.
