JustBananas's Journal, 11 Jun 23

Date night with the GF was at a university’s alternative medicine clinic Wednesday. Had acupuncture and a Homeopathic Treatment (evaluation, Reiki, massage, and a B12 shot) and left with Moringa herbal tea and a bottle of Chinese massage oil. I decided to attend to the constant dull ache in the pad of my right hand at the base of my thumb (repetitive motion injury from 30 years of using a computer mouse).

Very cool date. We prefer to do stuff instead of going to restaurants.

Hand feels better now, stress is down, scale is down, and I’m going on a day date to the farmers market in the GF’s neighborhood. Life is good!🤗

What you would like to have happen, sounds an awful lot like censorship.

Yes, you are free to post what you like. However, I don't know why you would want to bring such negativity into a kind, supportive environment. I never have commented on your negative comments. I see them frequently, but choose to ignore them. But there was something exceedingly unkind and rude about the comment you made on this journal. I'm asking you, as one of your fellow FatSecret members, to be kind. You don't need to be supportive, but if you must make a comment, be kind. I doubt there is one single person on this platform that appreciates your negativity. So why persist? Why the compulsion to always be so negative? Surely there must be one journal on this platform that you can make a positive comment on. Seeing negativity from you frequently is sad.

If you see something you disagree with, it is possible to comment on the validity of it without denigrating and belittling the person that has made the comment. It is even possible that your comment may be taken seriously if it weren't delivered with so much negativity..

Cindy, there have been times that you have made comments that I am in complete agreement with. However, you are so negative and hateful in your comments that it is off putting.

JB, I keep trying to get my hubby to so a blood donating date, and he hasn't been down for it. 😂😂 glad you had fun on this date!

To go on to another person's journal and call it BS is inappropriate and hateful. There's no call for it. There was no need for it. So you don't believe in homeopathic care, keep that to yourself. Why must you make a comment about it at all? Not only have you been rude toward JustBananas, but you have insulted an entire group of people who happen to think that homeopathic care has merit. To what end? To prove that your point of view is correct? To show to everyone on here that your beliefs are better? Is it really worth it? I'm not misunderstanding anything you have written. Time and time again I have seen you on this platform commenting on other people's journals in a way that is disrespectful and unkind. You call people names. You insult people and their beliefs. You can disagree with other people in a way that is mean. It is possible to have civil discourse to discuss dissenting points of view on here, but that cannot happen when one of the parties involved cannot use common courtesy, and is unlikely to happen when that person begins a discourse in an attack. It is not good! It is not right!

@Cindyoh77: Stay off my post. You and your comments are not welcome on my journals. @Wisco: Save your ink, and just ignore her. Thank you for supporting my fun date! We went again yesterday after a yoga class. It's not my jam to post pics of food, but if you can envision blackberries, raspberries and strawberries, you'll get the gist of my breakfasts last week.

@Russell: How's the road? Are you still able to get home for the weekends? When I had that traveling job, I sometimes got lucky and could wrap a long weekend around clients from Miami, San Francisco, or Los Angeles. Always cool stuff to do in those cities. @Asarver: Does Hubs have tattoos? Is he (ex)military? If so, no excuse will fly when it comes to donating blood for fear of needles🤣.

That's awesome! Hope it gave your some relief! I've never tried acupuncture but Reiki and massage have always brought positive results. Hats off to you for trying new things!

NP storms... it's my pleasure! I literally was going to stop using this app bc of people like her. It's nauseating seeing someone so full of hate on here all the time. Projecting her vitriol onto people she doesn't even know solely because of her own shortcomings in life or slanted outdated views.

I was at Mayo for my breast cancer surgery and had nausea after the surgery and instead of offering medicine for it I was offered a choice of acupuncture or essential oils. I choice the essential oils and someone came in and I think it was lavender but it worked!

@Redporch: when faced with cancer, I think most people would be open to everything and anything. I’m glad you found something non-invasive and inexpensive that worked. The world is a better place with you around!💚😃

@DarcNCS: massage is the best! Doing that next Wednesday, because we’re going to keep the college clinic as our regular date 🥰. YoH: Since you’re a fellow West Coast resident, it’s no surprise that you’re on the same page. No stress necessary — it’s all just small stuff 💚🧘🏼‍♀️
