During my health journey, I’ve learned to make homemade desserts, and they taste really good to me. I’ve posted many examples. One of my favorites is 2-3 20g of stuffed pitted dates w PB (I just blend 🥜 in my small blender and make my own) and stuff a 14g walnuts on top of the PB, then coat in melted SF Lily’s semi chocolate chips! OR I like the new viral cottage cheese frozen strawberry 🍓 protein “ice cream”. This past Thanksgiving, I made low carb pumpkin muffins using almond flour, pumpkin purée, etc (cream cheese filling and all). Yum! There are all kinds of almond flour/coconut flour cookie recipes out there. It’s fun experimenting!! Judging from some of the comments, these cookies don’t taste that good? How did you like them? Having my sweet treats is a necessity for my sweet tooth 🦷 lol, I just try and swap out for healthier ingredients. Mostly, I simply eat whole fruit 🍍 🍏 🍇 🍎 🍉 🍌 (measured or portioned as I’m type 2 diabetic) as a sweet treat especially when I’m tired and need to keep it simple!

Another favorite is 0% Fage yogurt, stevia, dark chocolate unsweetened cocoa powder, 1tbs SF maple syrup topped w coconut whipped cream (I use canned Thai unsweetened coconut milk/cream) or top w/14g of any nut or top w/ a WASA cracker (depending on my fat intake needs) for some crunch factor. I ALWAYS have homemade coconut or chocolate chia seed pudding on hand too!
