Minus the ciggy/ciggie, I hope. LOL. And she seems to have a little mustache thingie going on. It's important that we pluck or wax or shave. LOL.

@Morticia: I think it's dirt, because in this scene they're in a desert-like camp. I don't smoke, but will definitely have a cigarette as a prop (though probably tucked behind my ear most of the time. I do love the idea of not needing to wear makeup for this look 😎

Otb: this costume has the added benefit of cargo pants, which hide my thighs. Most women's Halloween getups involve fishnet stockings or short skirts.

I met my wife at one of those parties 😄 🤣 😂

@Otb: Sadly, my fishnet days are over, although costume parties will continue (Covid really put a damper on things, though). Perhaps my prince charming will appear by the time I've chiseled my body, and will be curiously attracted to the "Escaped from the Looney Bin and now Armed with an AK-47" look. 🤪

Love it. Bet you get the snickers looking like that.

@Chia: I am avoiding the (thug) body builder-look that Joan MacDonald has. I want lean and scrappy - a Hollywood Pilates body with low body fat and defined muscles even when not flexing. I'll train right alongside you on this journey, though!💚👍🏻

@Mike: the costume that will need no explanation at any party. 😁

@Chia: No excuses! We have a year, and all the training will be great to heal your body. Re: Joan MacDonald - hey, if she inspires you, go for it. But Linda Hamilton trained at age 61 for the final "Terminator: Dark Fate" movie, and it took her a year of diet & exercise to get ready. She discusses all this on the Graham Norton Show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyOUFlN31IE&t=592s

@Red: Right? Feelin' the Season and mama needs a long term goal! The only thing I'm missing is the clip-on bangs 🤣

Ooookaaay. I started the transformation this morning with a bicep and back workout, and tomorrow will be an early morning walk with hills. Pilates at lunch. I eat only Whole Foods Plant Based (WFPB) so no protein supplements. Looking forward to seeing your photos soon.

I was sooo jealous of Linda Hamilton's look when that movie came out!! I am not petite like her but do love it when I get the body fat down and can see the striations on the delts.

Doesn't happen often enough!! Once a year is about right.

@Anne: Linda Hamilton's body was revolutionary in getting women to lift weights. She had lean muscles, rather than hulking ones that female body builders sport. The secret is to weigh less. Otherwise if you lift when you're big, you end up looking like Serena Williams.

Yes, JB. When people say that weight lifting makes you bulky they are mistaken. Bulk comes from fat over the muscles. This is true for both men and women. And I talk from experience! I have never been very overweight but sometimes I look bulky and othertimes lean. My exercise remains constant. Diet is the variable.
