Trying to cut carbs. Bought new omlette pan. Told husband 'DO NOT touch this pan. THIS IS MY PAN FOR OMLETTES. It is non-stick and I DO NOT WANT IT RUINED' 'OK dear', he replied. Decided to make frittata with shredded sprouts - dry fried sprouts but they weren't cooking so added lemon juice to steam them. Used lid from previous frying pan to keep the steam in. Left them a few minutes. Returned to pan to check on sprouts - lid stuck on pan! Lid now heat-welded onto brand new pan. Had to ask husband to help remove - Karma or what?! PS Pan is now in freezer - still full of sprouts and with jammed-on lid. Any suggestions?
