#nsv I took myself thrift shopping yesterday and bought some more cute workout clothes and a lovely outfit of a beaded top and linen pants, size 4. The 4 is a little tight but they are too nice to let go of (incentive to tone up) and I tried on a size 6 skirt and was swimming in it. Many of my clothes are a 10 so I have a long way to go to replace my now baggy wardrobe, which is hindered both by financial limitations and by my pickiness when clothes shopping. But I’m excited about my new things which I’ll wear today running and then out to lunch.

Went to the gym yesterday and needed a snack first but didn’t have one nearby. Tried to workout anyway but I notice that due to hunger I wasn’t as strong and didn’t get as far as I wanted. I can go back and do more strength training tomorrow, and maybe some elliptical.

Congratulations on your new outfit! Enjoy wearing it. It makes a huge difference to be able to wear clothes that fit instead of your baggy former clothes.

Thanks @hebrews. Thankfully my local thrift stores have not gotten out of control with pricing yet and I got some steals

Congrats!!! That's a great accomplishment!!! One thing that helped me financially was to keep a log for one week of what I would actually like to wear. I'd jot down everything that I wished I had when I got dressed down to the color. Then I only replaced or shopped for those items. It helped me not buy things on a whim that I probably wouldn't wear. It still costs a bit to replace everything but I'm actually wearing all my clothes now.
