Protein du jour: salmon
Pre-swim dinner inspired by Portuguese and Brazilian meal ideas, with a subtle bit of orientalism (hint: Japanese). Portuguese explorers were the first Europeans to reach Japan.

I can see you starting to enjoy the kitchen. I hope your kitchen game came to stay. Nice meal! Time to start thinking about the next one (baby system) 😉

We came, we saw , we conquered.. the Japanese.

I used olive oil (your idea), sudachi ponzu instead of lemon or lime, and arranged veggies like your Brazilian friends do. Tomatoes tasted better this way for some reason, didn’t even need dressing. Protein ~24g?

Loving the internacional mix there. I can totally see you having fun with cooking and … using the scale 😆 24g of protein sounds about right. Salmon is a great choice too! Soon I will be the one using your meals for inspiration..

Sorry… no scale yet, I had a question I wanted to ask before buying one. I saw a scale that shows macros and such. Is it accurate?

Macros? What’s the brand? I never saw anything so advanced but I don’t think I would pay for it anyway. FS is free 😂

Beautiful meal my beautiful lady. I love salmon. It is my favorite thing that lives in water.

Paula I don’t remember.. I’m usually skeptical of such gadgets anyway. I will stick with a simple yet reliable scale then.

Yfritz, buy something cheap and functional.. invest the rest of the money in nice food. Variety in the kitchen makes healthy eating way more exciting.

Wifey, let’s make this post the classiest post of yfritz. That’s why I am now going to sleep. 🤣🤣

Paula, I almost failed nutrition class in college. I never thought I would be tackling it again. It also helps me become a better coach when I talk to diabetic patients. I deal with lots of post-whipple patients, and diabetes is completely new to them, and they struggle. You had no idea you were touching so many people, did you? 🤣🤣

Yes, I agree. A classy lady deserves a classy post. I won’t collapse it again, not today anyway. LOL…good night Paula. Too early for bed here, it is only 7:21pm. I’m wide awake! 😀
